Carolyn in MN

I have my first ground cherry plant ever this year. It looks about like yours (much to my surprise ... last year everything had some sort of bug, so I was rather expecting this year to be the same) I look forward to hearing about your pie experiment.

The recipe sounds really good! I vote that!! You know you can always send them my way... :) Brian and I will very willingly eat them in pie form... :)

In our part of the world we call them "appelliefies" - directly translated apple lov(i)es - gooseberries in English?

they do make a lovely pie...
